I graduated from McGill University in Montreal in 2017 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Before that, I also earned a Bachelors in Physical Therapy and a Bachelors of Science. My previous experience includes working in major hospitals in Montreal with patients post orthopedic, cardiac and neurological surgeries and volunteering with the McGill’s soccer team. I am passionate about physiotherapy and helping patients achieve a better quality of life. Growing up in Montreal, I am very fortunate to be bilingual and I look forward to helping patients either in English or French!

Julandi Marais

Registered Physiotherapist, Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association

"I am from South Africa and recently moved to Fort McMurray. I am very excited about my new home in Canada. I have been a physiotherapist for 19 years and obtained my experience in a variety of settings. I owned my own private clinic in South Africa for 7 years and also worked in the UK for 3 years.

I passed the Canadian Physiotherapy Competency exam in May 2018 and started working as a Physiotherapist Intern at Tamarack Physical Therapy in November 2018.

It gives me great joy to see patients getting better with physiotherapy treatment and I feel privileged to be part of a profession that has so much to offer.”

Registered Physiotherapist Intern, Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association

I am a South African physiotherapist who graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2011.

Since graduation, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings in both South Africa and in Kuwait. This has given me exposure to different cultures, thought processes and different ways of approaching the same problem.

I have been lucky enough to have worked in teaching-orientated environments where our focus was on providing better care for our patients by learning from each other and being encouraged to study further to bring new skills to the table.

My treatments are focused on helping my patients achieve their goals and return to the activities they enjoy.

Micheala Watson

“I received my Diploma of Massage Therapy in 2016 from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. I am a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA).

I am dedicated to providing effective treatments that focus on the goals of each client. I use a variety of techniques such as myofascial release, Swedish techniques, therapeutic, trigger point therapy and stretching.

I plan on taking more courses in the future to enhance my skills and knowledge within my scope of practice.”
